Remember when I wrote about it being the end of an era with marching band a few months ago? Well, that has turned out to be only half true.
Over the last three years our youngest has shown no interest in indoor winter marching. It appeared at first this would be the case again this year. In fact, they started and then quit. Was actually happy to have no more practices to worry about and to have Saturday’s free again. As you might have garnered, I’m at competition this evening as they rejoined after being asked to do so by one of the band directors.
Because we are at a competition, a little unplanned as I’ve not gotten back into the schedule of things, there won’t be a usual post this evening. I’ll be better at time management and back in the groove next week.
