It was a morning of revisiting the Short North and memory lane, and an afternoon of traveling home. Although tired from the trip, there were still a few things to do.
When I got home, I mowed grass before settling into making dinner. I had been planning on making meatloaf earlier this week, but it didn’t workout. Today was the last day to do so before the fresh ingredients went bad.
Here was my attempt at formal plating. Dinner was potato purée, meatloaf, and asparagus cooked in duck fat.
