Michelle Bachmann Said…

“We will in all likeilhood never see a more godly, biblical president again in our lifetime.” (CNN)

Here are the 10 Commandments:

  1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
  2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
  3. Thou shalt not take the Lord thy God in vain.
  4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  5. Honour thy father and thy mother.
  6. Thou shalt not murder.
  7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
  8. Thou shalt not steal.
  9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
  10. Thou shalt not covet.

Before anyone says he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone, I have sinned, and I’m sure I will sin again. That is not the point as no one has held me up as being the most biblical or godly over anyone else.

The point is how many on the religious right are holding the current president up as a moral and just person, who is biblical and a Christian. That we should all, in what it sounds like to me, bow down before his greatness.

Let’s break it down.

1st Commandment: This president does have another god, two in fact, upon which he bows down. The gods’ name are money and power. From just what we have witnessed since his election, there are his almighty gods and he will do just about anything to amass more of both.

2nd Commandment: This president worships money, along with himself, above all else.

3rd Commandment: Unknown either way.

4th Commandment: To my knowledge, I’ve never seen or heard of him attending any type of religious service, of any domination, Sabbath.

5th Commandment: Unknown either way.

6th Commandment: I’d like to give the benefit of a doubt this has not been broken. Although, the president, as a candidate, did joked about murdering someone in public.

7th Commandment: Well, we are all well aware he has broken this one repeatedly, and has even paid women off to keep it secret.

8th Commandment: This president has stolen from many people when he took their money for Trump University and in not paying subcontractors what they were contractually obligated to receive for services rendered.

9th Commandment: Where to even start with this Commandment. Breaking this one is an everyday occurrence with this president, from saying who would pay for a Wall to no business dealings with Russia to denying all of the women who have come forward about his inappropriateness towards them, and so many more.

10th Commandment: Another of where to start. This president covets money, his daughter, women he believes to be beautiful, and limitless power.

Every day, and yes it is everyday, I wonder how this president, his family, his government appointees, his political party, and his supporters are able to sleep at night with the many harmful policies and actions that have taken place since this administration began.

I know I lose sleep over the downslide of our country and the harm being done to people of color and any minority, our environment and our collective psyche’s.

Why don’t they if they are truly biblical and godly?
