Washington Walkabout

I’ve been in Washington, D.C. the past few days for work. There wasn’t a lot of time to see the town, but found a little time yesterday to take a quick walk. My main goal was to see the famous cherry blossoms as I’ve not been in D.C. at the right time of year to see them before.

There were four things on the walking agenda: The White House, the Washington Monument, the cherry blossoms, and to eat at a food truck—wanted some street food. Each of those things got checked off the list. It was a pretty nice evening with the sun just starting to dip below the horizon. Thankfully the crowds weren’t too bad.
