It is official! This evening at the Annual HOA meeting, the HOA Board member election results were announced.
I, along with five others, are the new Board. Mind you, there were five positions open, so it was hard to lose when only five people ran.
However, and I guessed I missed this in the fine print, two members are on for two years, three for one year this first time around. The number of votes received determined your term.
Apparently I received enough votes to serve as a two-year term member. It was nice to hear at one level. And, I’m giving some credit to our dog because in walking her everyday, I’ve been able to greet, and meet, many of my neighbors.
I guess ready or not, the journey begins!
