All this rhetoric, and the number of people who are believing this rhetoric, which is without any basis in facts, along with how the trumpists project what they are doing onto the others should cause us all to fear. If Caputo says the left will start shooting, you can just about take it to mean the trumpists are getting locked and loaded, and will take to the streets shooting anyone who gets in their way if things don’t go the way they fully believe they should on November 3.
Voting will be very scary this year.
When, as I hope, Biden wins the election, I greatly fear there will be unneeded violence, stoked by the current administration’s hate rhetoric. That many of his cultish followers will go looking for anyone who voted for Biden, poll workers, and others, to achieve retribution, and people will die!
I hope and pray I am wrong. I hope and pray the fear is unfounded and we have a peaceful transfer of power, as is our tradition.
The fear is real I will be right and I fear for us all.
