Personal Reflections of a Middle-Aged Man

Today I’m just too too tired.

Tired of the daily reminders critical thinking skills are extremely lacking in too many adults.

Tired of people not getting how words and pictures, especially outside of any contextual parameters, are offensive and highly inappropriate.

Tired of people not taking their role in the shaping of young minds and being diligent in their professional duties.

And if I’m tired, and I don’t have to fully live in certain spaces in society, how tired a woman, a person of color, a transgender person, and anyone else who lives outside what is considered “mainstream’ must feel each and every day.

When will people wake up and be woke up!
