Personal Reflections of a Middle-Aged Man

I know the 4th of July means many things to many people. Although our country has often not lived up to its ideals, it has continued to move forward, even after taking a few steps back, maybe many steps back under the current administration. The good thing is, we do eventually move forward again. Hopefully, we will begin moving forward again in November, that is, if we vote.

All I know, is that with all of our imperfections and set-backs, I am still proud to be an American. I am proud because I do believe we will move forward. I’m gaining faith again.
