The new cabinet is being worked out by the president-elect. As always, he is surrounding himself with the best, very fine people. Better than any cabinet ever assembled, and the most loyal, of course.
So who do we have?
Let’s start with Matt Gaetz. Now I know he has since dropped out, but he counts because he was in the running for a short time. It appears Gaetz was about to have the investigation of his antics of paying underage girls to have sex with him released. Stories have been told of how he would show graphic pictures on the floor of the House bragging about his exploits. In fact, right after he was nominated, and two days before what is reported to have been a scathing House ethics report, Gaetz resigned. With Gaetz’s resignation, and because of a weak House Speaker, the report is basically being buried, which gives the impression the report was not very flattering to Gaetz. The fact there was also an investigation into Gaetz’s sexual encounters with minors by other law enforcement agencies seems to have been lost in this discussion.
Then we have a small blast from the past, Brent Kavanaugh. During his confirmation hearing as a Supreme Court Justice, he was accused of sexually assaulted at least two women in his past.
Next is the nominee for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. There has been a report stating Hegseth sexually assaulted a woman from California. The police report indicates Hegseth blocked her from leaving a hotel room, took her phone, and assaulted her even though she repeatedly told him no. A trial was not held though because Hegseth essentially paid for her silence monetarily and had her sign a confidentiality agreement.
Yet, there is more. Linda McMahon, the pick for Secretary of Education, is named in a civil case by five young men. These plaintiffs have accused McMahon and her husband Vince, of knowing these young men, who were as young as 13 at the time, where being groomed and sexually abused by one of their employees. Her husband is also being sued for allegedly forcing a plaintiff into a sexual relationship while also offering her to WWE performers for sex.
The pick for the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is next on the list. A former nanny of his children recently came forward about an incident that occurred when she was 23. She has stated Kennedy forcibly groped her while she was working for the family as a live-in nanny. Kennedy also made other advances toward the nanny in the way of rubbing her leg and inappropriately touching her body and breasts when he walked up behind her. It is been reported over the years of Kennedy’s many infidelities.
We also have Elon Musk, the pick to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency, a new proposed government agency (Note: It takes an act of Congress to create new agencies, which has not occurred at this time). Musk is being sued by eight former employees alleging he sexually harassed and discriminated against them while employed at his company, SpaceX.
Then again, we now have re-elected a man, Trump, who himself, has been found liable for sexual abuse and defamation by a jury of his peers. He has also bragged about grabbing women by the pussy because he is famous. Numerous women, including one who has stated Trump abused and assaulted her when she was 13 through connections with known sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, have reported being sexually harassed or assaulted by the president-elect. Trump’s name also shows up several times as being a passenger on Epstein’s jet. He has also been photographed multiple times with Epstein.
These are the people who may be in charge of our armed forces, our law enforcement agency, our education systems, overseeing allocations of funds, and our nation’s health, not to mention the leader of our country.
Are these the kind of folks you want overseeing the children of our nation? People who seem to not give a whit about sex with minors, who do not honor boundaries, and hang out with people of ill-repute.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel our children, our grandchildren, our moms, aunts, nieces, wives, and sisters are safe under this administration.
Thoughts?
