The simple question is, do you want to recover and live, or believe the lies and possibly die?
The Republican candidate for president, Donald Trump, as we have seen time and time again, is lying again. This time about hurricane relief. He is saying there has been a bad response by the Biden administration. He is saying people are being silenced. He is saying FEMA is giving away money to the “illegals” (something his administration actually did). He is saying much more than that, which then hinders actual rescue and recovery efforts.
The sad thing is, people are believing him! A proven liar, a convicted fraudster, a convicted slanderer, and an adjudicated rapist. I mean, come on folks. When are you going to come to your senses and realize Trump lies and by his own admission, doesn’t care about you!
Listening to him and his tried and true elected politician followers, DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU! They only care about MONEY and POWER.
To believe Trump and those around him about hurricane relief and rescue is to believe every single governor of affected states hit by Helene are lying. Every single FEMA employee is lying. Every single rescue worker are both lying and risking their own lives for nothing. These people are all trying to save you and you are drinking the lying Trump kool-aid. WAKE the, please pardon me, fuck up!
Ultimately you get to decide.
Live and recover by following the instructions of FEMA and other rescue workers and organizations. Or, potentially lose even more and possibly die, or have a loved one die.
To me, it’s an easy choice.
For help, please go here to FEMA or contact your local officials.
P.S.—As election day approaches, make sure to check your voter registration status. Republicans across the nation are purging voter rolls, kicking hundreds of thousands of people off voter rolls, thus hindering their legal right to vote. Check your status at vote.org at least weekly to make sure you have time to take any necessary action to have your vote counted should you no longer show as being registered.
Early voting has already started in many states, so don’t put off going to the polls. Go now while the lines are shorter. Also remember, if your state allows straight party vote, to scroll all the way through the ballot as there are many races that are classified as non-affiliated (school boards, some judges, etc.), that often are left blank. Research your candidates, make your list, and take that list with you to the polls to help you remember. As always, I highly encourage you to vote blue/Democrats and progressives up and down the ballot. Save our freedoms, please don’t vote for those who would take them away.
