Personal Reflections of a Middle-Aged Man

Thoughts and Opinions as I Grow Older

Long Conversation with Our Youngest

It’s late. We had a long conversation with our youngest. It started with a conversation about future after high school, and ended discussing Black Lives Matter and racism.

In between there was curiosity about the differences between the Democrats and Republicans, and the thinking that the current generation is going to change the world. To which both my husband and I responded, only if those currently over 18 actually show-up at the polls and vote.

As a conversation, it was very nice and uninterrupted with any electronics.

A nice evening indeed.
